Why and what personal data we collect
Cookies
We may save your name, email address, and website in cookies if you leave a comment on our site. This is for your convenience so you do not have to enter your information again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last one year.
A temporary cookie is set when you visit our login page in order to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal information and is deleted when you close your browser.
An additional cookie will be saved in your browser when you edit or publish an article. This cookie contains no personal information and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
How long we keep your data
Whenever you leave a comment, we keep the comment and its metadata indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments without waiting for them to be approved by a moderation queue.
The personal information of users that register on our website (if any) will also be stored in their user profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username cannot be changed). This information can also be viewed and edited by website administrators.
The rights you have over your data
Additionally, you can ask that we delete any personal information we hold about you. This does not include any information that we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
